Jane Bowles set up Relocation France 3 years ago partly as a result of her own experience when searching for a second home in France. A true Francophile Jane realised there was a gap in the market for a ‘one-stop shop’ where people could find help when researching where exactly to buy a property, how to negotiate the French property purchase process and the next steps once you actually found your dream home!

Buying a property abroad can be daunting and knowing what paperwork you need to make a move as smooth as possible, particularly at the moment, can be confusing. With regulations changing, it’s reassuring to know that Relocation France can be there to help you navigate your way through, and help you arrange insurances, point you in the right direction for visa requirements, and even help you find a cleaner.

Jane and Susi work with a number of partners to ensure clients receive the most up-to-date and best specialist advice to help you with all your needs. The ethos of everything we do is to make sure that clients always receive the best service, tailored to their specific needs and budget.

And even if you’re looking to set up a business in France we can help you complete the necessary paperwork and guide you through the process.

Jane is a French speaker who has worked both in the UK and Europe. She is very experienced in dealing with French bureaucracy and understands the need for the right resources and support.

 Muriel Agathon
Muriel Agathon
Muriel was born and brought up in Paris. After a career in ‘the City’ in the insurance sector she moved to La Nievre twelve years ago.

She has a great love of the countryside and animals, particularly horses. This led to her setting up Le Refuge de Cavaliere, a charity rescuing horses in danger across France.

Jane and Muriel first met when a horse staying in Jane’s field became unwell.

‘I was blown away by Muriel’s gift to communicate with the horse – the animal had previously been stressed and upset but as soon as Muriel arrived he calmed down and let her examine him’.

Over time she and I have become friends and we both share the desire to introduce the beautiful Nievre to others to enjoy the calm, relaxed atmosphere that it offers.

As the daughter of an architect with a deep interest in buildings both historical and modern she is well placed to advise on suitable properties to suit individual lifestyles.

She speaks French and English.

Susi Golding

Susi is tri-lingual speaking both French and German as well as English. Experienced in working with French organisations, Susi is usually the day-to-day contact for clients. She is mainly based in the UK.
